Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 2 salmon fillets 6-8 oz each
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Brown Butter Sauce

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp honey optional, for balance
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Season & Sear the Salmon

  • Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel.
  • Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil.
  • Place the salmon skin-side down first and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Brown Butter Sauce

  • In the same pan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
  • Swirl the butter in the pan and let it cook until it turns golden brown and gives off a nutty aroma (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and honey to balance the flavors.

Step 3: Combine & Serve

  • Return the seared salmon to the pan and spoon the sauce over it.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
