For the Salmon
- 2 salmon fillets 6-8 oz each
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Brown Butter Sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp honey optional, for balance
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Step 1: Season & Sear the Salmon
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel.
Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil.
Place the salmon skin-side down first and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
