  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs panko or regular
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter for frying

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  • Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally to create thin cutlets.
  • Place the cutlets between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness (about ½ inch thick) using a meat mallet.

Step 2: Set Up Breading Station

  • In one shallow bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
  • In another bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Step 3: Bread the Chicken

  • Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  • Press it into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.

Step 4: Cook the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook each chicken cutlet for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
